On that day in the Emirates, he met the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan in Al Nahya, May God rest with his founding brothers, he signed the “Unity Document” and wrote the Constitution of the Emirates. federal system of government, and the official name of the emerging state is the United Arab Emirates. The national flag was then hoisted at the Dubai Hospitality Palace, now known as “Union House”. This meeting was the main step in the formation of the Union State on December 2 of that year.
The dawn of the late Sheikh Zayed, a statesman and a man of the scene, had begun to prepare the map of the homeland, the United Arab Emirates, which was one of the biggest steps in Arab history. Perhaps the charisma he enjoys as a leader and a man of initiative enabled Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, to rally the hearts and minds of the people of the country to a noble cause that conquered the circumstances of the time. and place, and strive to establish strong rules and foundations for that strong structure, from the first construction stage to the consolidation of state structures. The UAE witnessed several sessions on the system of ministries and decisions that will take this entity from small rules and formations to the state, and it came as a precursor to building colleges and universities by strengthening the state cadres with human resources, which is the most important step to trust the nation’s human resources.
As an end to this auspicious occasion, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, may God bless him, decreed that the eighteenth of July every year be designated as the “Era of Unity Day” to commemorate the historic meeting. it was celebrated that day. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said: “Covenant of Unity Day” is when we remember the stations of our nation’s blessed journey, learn lessons for today and the future and renew our covenant with God Almighty. , then ourselves and our people, on the day Zayed and his brothers established the Treaty of Unity, may the UAE flag continue to fly and may our unity continue to be the barrier that protects our path.
The extent of the UAE’s achievements since the beginning of the blessed union is no secret to those far and near, lovers and haters vertical, looking at the construction of roads, bridges, airports, ports, markets, hospitals and other types, and emphasis was placed on building human beings, the ranking of education among the developed countries of the UAE , the witness of international organizations. Regarding the economic aspect, the UAE has achieved a miracle, becoming an important economic power in the region, and an emerging power in the world, and a deserved membership in the “BRICS” group, which currently represents forty-two. percent of the world’s population, and contributes to GDP. The global gross domestic product is between twenty-five percent and 25% to 29%, and accounts for more than 16% of the trade volume of the UAE. and working to build the best economic environment” indicates the need to focus.
Today, EAE has become the focus of everyone’s admiration. In fact, it has become a destination for many countries in the world to work, live, invest, tourism and other areas, because of the security and prosperity they enjoy. It is one of the most important donor countries that has never abandoned the humanitarian work it supports, in its duties towards its brothers, friends or in the various regions of the world, the love of goodness. Inherent in the Emirati consciousness, we are following the path of our founding fathers, following the example of wise leadership that leads us to progress and success.
The achievements are great and awesome in proportion to the leadership, the nation and the citizens, and they are our opportunities now and in the future, and that is why all national efforts are united to raise the flag in every forum of the nation.
