The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday that a global technical issue had affected some of its electronic systems, and advised users to avoid transactions until the issue is resolved.

In a statement, the Cyber Security Council recommended caution to avoid becoming a victim of hackers who could exploit this cyber technical flaw, and emphasized that the global technical flaw is being tackled in cooperation with official organizations and international partners.
The council called on all members of the society to get information from official sources and not rely on rumours.
