“Emirati-Chinese Friendship” celebrates 40 years of bilateral relations

The Emirati-Chinese Friendship Festival in the Chinese city of Qingdao has seen a large turnout of visitors since its launch, with a large number of people coming to experience the rich culture and heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

The UAE-China Friendship Festival kicked off in Qingdao province to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, and will last for three days.

The UAE market received a lot of interest from the Chinese public, who expressed their admiration for the traditional and craft exhibits that embody the authenticity and diversity of Emirati culture.

Nujoud Al Shamsi and Amani Al Tunaiji, representatives of the UAE Ministry of Culture, emphasized the importance of the festival in improving the cultural exchange between the two friendly countries, and praised the significant positive interaction of the Chinese public with the various activities of the festival.

Some visitors to the UAE-China Friendship Festival also expressed their happiness at participating in this cultural event and praised the opportunity to explore UAE culture up close.

Jang Bo, one of the visitors to the festival, said: “I didn’t know enough about Emirati culture, but my visit today allowed me to explore authentic Emirati traditions through traditional food and fashion, which really surprised me.”

Wang Shui, a visitor to the festival, confirmed that these events are the perfect platform to improve understanding and rapprochement between the Chinese and Emirati peoples, and that the exchange of knowledge contributes greatly to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
