His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, announced that the UAE has won the host of the world’s largest conference dedicated to space science research, COSPAR 2028.
His Highness said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “We are delighted that the UAE has won the host of the world’s largest conference dedicated to space science research, COSPAR 2028.”
His Highness added that “this event will be held for the first time in the Arab world, where more than 3,000 researchers, experts and scientists will gather to present and discuss the most important scientific research”.
His Highness continued: “The UAE has become a prominent destination for the scientific community and space research debate… thereby strengthening the position of the space sector as an area for constructive international cooperation.”
His Highness said: “We are grateful to the working team at the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, which made this achievement possible.”
