His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, issued the decision to form the “Smart Autonomous Systems Council” of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the aim of enhancing a supportive, stimulating and attractive environment for the development and use of intelligent self-propelled systems in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Likewise, the Council oversees the development of plans related to supporting and encouraging activities related to intelligent self-propelled systems, developing plans to prepare the necessary infrastructure for their development and use and monitoring their implementation, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

The powers of the Council also include proposing the incentives, initiatives and projects necessary to achieve its goals, proposing legislation, carrying out research and development studies related to its field of work, forming and coordinating the work groups of experts, consultants and technicians of the Council. federal authorities
