Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi Council, in collaboration with Fujairah Regional Development Foundation, organized an awareness session on “Breast Cancer Prevention” at Ohla District Council, Emirate of Fujairah.
During the session, Dr. Sarah Ezz El-Din, medical consultant and specialist in gynecology, gave a detailed explanation of the importance of early detection of breast cancer, its symptoms and ways to prevent it. He emphasized the importance of regular examinations to detect the tumor before it develops, and stated that early detection of breast cancer plays a vital role in increasing the chances of treatment and complete cure. He explained that the efforts of the health authorities in Fujairah make a significant contribution in this area, as they organize awareness campaigns and regular screening programs that improve health awareness and encourage early detection and effective prevention.
