Yesterday morning, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler and Deputy Chairman of Sharjah. The Executive Council chaired the meeting of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, which was held at the office of His Highness the ruler.
The meeting discussed various items on its agenda to update procedures to adapt to the government’s work issues, development and societal aspirations in order to provide a dignified lifestyle to the citizens and residents of Sharjah.
The Council reviewed the report on the results of the work of the second strategic plan for the year 2021-2023, which addressed the efforts, strategic map, tasks for the Emirate of Sharjah to join the global network of age-friendly cities. achieved, and entities implementing strategic activities, in addition to developing criteria for age-friendly cities, in terms of global axes, standards and practices, 114 practices and expected results for local authorities.
