The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, revealed that it resolved 77% of the mediation cases it received in the first half of this year, compared to a resolution of 62% in the same period. In 2023, noting that these cases were resolved within a maximum period of 10 working days, which indicates the efficiency and speed of the mediation service provided by the Chamber.
In the first half of this year, the Chamber received 79 mediation cases with a total value of 6.5 million dirhams, and the value of mediation cases resolved by the Chamber in the first half was 3.5 million dirhams.
The sectors and areas of mediation issues received by the Chamber in the first semester have been varied, including building and construction, logistics services, shipping services, food, services and the health sector.
