Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, unveiled the package of new projects that will beautify the city of Kalba.

As His Highness explained, among the projects is the garden surrounding the Khor Kalba Fort, which was demolished by the flood, a new museum that includes all kinds of heritage, including customs, traditions and songs, and the “Kalba Gate” project. He emphasized that the walkway that will connect the Hanging Gardens with Al-Hafiyah Lake has developed an environmental, archeological and heritage tourism program for Kalbara, based on the existing elements in the city.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, through the “Direct Line” program broadcast on Sharjah Radio and Television, told the story of Khor Kalba Castle and the empty land next to it, and said: “We will beautify it. The city of Kalba, God willing, today Because it is visited by people from inside and outside the UAE for tourism, for which the environmental, archeological and heritage tourism program has been developed, as its tourism program was developed based on the elements that are there For example, next to the existing castle there is a strange museum, consisting of a large “mule – it is a large vessel – and its sails are the entrance to the museum, and inside it is the “Yazra”, one of the shallow wells.
