On Tuesday morning, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired the Council meeting, which was held at the office of His Highness.
During the meeting, the Council discussed various issues related to monitoring the government’s performance and developing its services to keep pace with the growth of the Emirate of Sharjah in its various sectors.
The Council adopted the recommendations of the report on the progress of the work of the Sharjah Government Medical Commission for the year 2023 AD, which addressed the most outstanding results, practices and powers of the Commission, as received by the Commission since then. the beginning of its duties, more than 40 thousand transactions were submitted by 91 local government organizations through the electronic system.
The City Council approved the project to check fuel meters at gas stations, and the aim is to monitor the economic establishments and the extent of their commitment to legal metrology, and that they do not violate and will fulfill the conditions that guarantee accurate delivery. Reading the quantities of fuel used, compared to the price to be paid by the consumer.
The council approved the proposal to replace the amount of insurance for the practice of certain economic activities with an existing insurance policy, with the aim of covering the risks that may arise when practicing certain activities.
The approval is due to the great commitment of the organizations concerned with the conditions and controls to carry out the activities, and thanks to the support of the economic establishments to take advantage of the liquidity of the cash.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the issue of new work to modernize government service procedures and the work of various committees, which aim to provide the best services to individuals and businesses at the level of the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah. .
