In the same context, as part of the “Gallant Knight 3” Operation, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the municipality of Khan Yunis to repair water lines and carry out emergency maintenance of water networks in various areas of the city, alleviating the suffering of citizens and enabling the provision of infrastructure services with the capabilities of the municipality.
This memorandum is part of the efforts of the United Arab Emirates to find urgent humanitarian solutions for Khan Yunis municipality, and funding to restart the city’s water wells and water tanks, after many of them were damaged, as a percentage of the damage. the main water networks reached about 70%, in addition to the complete destruction of 25 wells and 12 wells, increasing the water crisis in the city in recent months and the impossibility of obtaining it.
