The “Watani Al-Emirates Foundation”, in collaboration with the “Emirates Foundation for School Education”, announced the launch of the “Watani Al-Emirates Summer Camp” for the year 2024, under the motto “From the legacy of the past…”. .for a sustainable future.” The launch of this camp coincides with the strengthening of the national identity, good citizenship and heritage of the Foundation, so that the participants acquire new knowledge and strengthen the values ​​of pride, belonging and national identity in them and expand their horizons to build a better future for their country.

The camp’s events and activities, which aim to attract 400 participants aged 7-16, will be held at Zayed Education Complex in Al Warqa area and Zayed Education Complex in Al Barsha area in the Emirate of Dubai. From July 15 to August 1, 2024, every day except Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The camp activities, which will last from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, will be supervised by a qualified team of trainers, guides and specialists.

Dirar Belhoul Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, said: “We are proud to launch the ‘Watani Al Emarat Summer Camp’, which is the result of a close partnership with the ‘Emirates Foundation for School Education.’ It is part of our efforts to activate the initiative. We are organizing this camp in accordance with the directives of the wise leader, who has always wanted to strengthen the national identity as the basic building block of the Emirati identity and the engine that leads to the improvement of the skills of the Emirati youth, the building of revival, progress and prosperity we want to build, a generation that will be based on the heritage of the past, to shape the future.

The camp activities take place in an environment that helps to strengthen the connection of the participants with their national heritage and national identity, by consolidating the values ​​of good citizenship and social responsibility, focusing and encouraging them to discover their personal abilities and skills, and educating them. a generation that enjoys sustainable awareness, as well as being aware of the latest developments and contemporary technologies such as digital citizenship and artificial intelligence.

Camp activities include more than 20 activities, including “Nukhatha 360”, Emirati Sana “Gold is Gold”, weaving Emirati patterns, cutting the monument with a compass, visits to major rural institutions, science and entertainment visits, sports activities. , workshops of national media stars, and reading, in addition to the astronomer and the junior engineer, and many others.
