The Watani Al Emarat Foundation, in collaboration with the Emirates Foundation for School Education, launched the “Watani Al Emarat Summer Camp” for the year 2024 under the theme “From the legacy of the past…to a sustainable future”. “

The launch of the camp is in line with the Foundation’s mission to strengthen national identity, good citizenship and heritage and to empower young Emirati, which provides participants with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, build pride, belonging and values. national identity in their soul, and expand their horizons to build a better future for their homeland.

The events and activities of the “Emirates National Summer Camp”, which aims to receive 400 participants between the ages of 7 and 16, will take place at the Zayed Education Complex in the Al Warqa area and the Zayed Education Complex in the Al Barsha area. To the Emirate of Dubai, from 15 July to 1 August 2024, daily except Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The camp activities, which will last from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, will be supervised by a qualified team of trainers, guides and specialists.

The camp activities take place in an environment that helps to strengthen the connection of the participants with their national heritage and identity, establishing the values ​​of good citizenship and social responsibility, guiding and encouraging them to discover their personal abilities and skills, and a generation with sustainable awareness, as well as the latest developments and today also reporting on current technologies, such as digital citizenship and artificial intelligence.

Camp activities include more than 20 activities, including “Nukhatha 360”, Emirati Sana “Gold is Gold”, weaving Emirati patterns, cutting the monument with a compass, visits to major rural institutions, science and entertainment visits, sports activities. , workshops of national media stars, and reading, in addition to the astronomer and the junior engineer, and many others.
